Fun Weekend

The orignal plan- I was training for my new job on Friday and Saturday from 8-8 and Ryan would be in Colorado from Friday morning to Saturday evening. Tally would go see her Grandma Wilstead in Price.

What actually happened- I ended up not being able to work the weekend. Ryan was still travelling to Colorado and you take away a grandchild froma grandma after you've promised her the weekend... so to keep me from feeling guilty while I layed around my house while my family was gone I went to Price to help them take care of Tally. We ended up going to Thanksgiving Point on Friday. I'd never been there before, it was tons of fun. I think we will plan on going again when Ryan can go with us.

On our way to Thanksgiving Point

Tally and Aunt Deidra standing next to a cow

Riding the pony!!

Tally LOVES to ride ponies!!

Riding the wagon.. the horses that pulled the wagon were Gypsy and Hannah. Tally would love to tell you all about it sometime

Oh no! Tally's in jail!

Feeding the ducks. This was so funny! When Grandma bought the 25 cent duck food she thought it would be gone very fast, but Tally was having too much fun feeding the ducks one kernel at a time. We ended up feeding ducks for at least 5 minutes. She was too cute!

We also saw goats, cows, chickens, pigs and bunnies.

After the farm we went to the Creamery for some much needed ice cream.

After our treat we headed for the gardens. Tally really enjoyed them.

While she was sleeping we went to the Glass Blowing Art Museum. I'm glad she was asleep. I wouldn't have been a good idea to bring her in there awake!

Tally slept most of the way home too. But when she woke up she immediately need Grandma's "Lips" I think poor Grandma has to buy new lips after every time she sees us!

Tally got home and was so happy to play with Uncle Stetson. She's really warmed up to him and they have lots of fun together now.

That night I had a hard time putting Tally to bed. She got to sleep with me and thought that was pretty cool. It took me 2 hours to get her to lay down and be quiet...who knows when she actually went to sleep?
