We celebrated Cassidy's birthday party on Wednesday. They had a little pool there which my kids absolutely loved, lunch and of course cake and ice cream.

This month is such a special one!

Happy Birthday to Breanne! (26th)
Happy Birthday to me!! (27th)
Happy Birthday to Cass who just turned 1 year old! (27th)
 Happy Birthday to Carol! (27th)
and Happy Birthday to Candice who's birthday is today! (29th)
I'm so grateful for all of you in my life. I hope you all have great birthdays!

Tuacahn Part 2!

We made it back to Tuacahn to see The Little Mermaid. We made it through the whole show! Woot woot! Still recommending that anyone who has the chance to go should do it!

Pretty much we had too much fun!!

Cove Fort

On our way back to Tuacahn we stopped at Cove Fort. If you haven't been before Cove Fort is well.. a fort. It was built by President Hinkley's grandfather after being asked by Brigham Young. It was used as a "pit stop" for people travelling, especially saints.

In the blacksmith shop there are some "handcuffs" for horses. To keep people from stealing their horses at night they would put these cuffs on the horses. These let them walk but they couldn't run.

This picture is of my dad and Ryan trying to get the cuffs undone. They did finally do it.
Cove Fort was actually re-purchased by the church in 1994. The Hinkley family put together donations, bought it and then donated it to the church.

In the picture we are looking at the plaque of donators.

Don't let it be forgot that once there was a spot. For one brief shining moment, that was known as Camelot!

Every year my mom's side of the family, the Rockwoods, get together for a summer reunion. (This is big. My Grandma and her brothers and sisters and all of their families. Around 4 generations)
We went to Camelot, by the Strawberry Pinnacles, for 3 days. It was super fun! If you have a big family event coming up I suggest checking it out!

His Best Friend's Wedding

On Saturday Ryan's best friend from High School got married! Eric asked Ryan to be his best man. It was a quick trip but we were glad we could make it for such a special occasion.
