Scrapbook show off!

So tonight at work I finally finished Tally's 1st year scrapbook 3 months after she turned 1. Not too bad right? :) I also started her 2nd year scrapbook because I didn't want to get too far behine. We are officially caught up! Tally's 1st year scrapbook ended up with 91 pages! Can you believe it! Yay for digital scrapbooking, you can do so much more in less time and it still looks fabulous! Don't believe me? Here are some of my favorite pages from her 1st year book.I think right now Tally's 2nd year book has about 12 pages. I'm really loving how it's turning out. Here are some of those! Then, of course, as you all know, there's Stetson's book. I'm not done with it yet, but I am almost caught up with his letters. Here are some of my new favorite pages.

So there you have it. My favorite pages, so far, with my never ending hobby!

Fun Family Night

So tonight after dinner the President was on every channel! Ryan was very disappointed since NCIS is usally on at 7:00, but we got some great pictures of Tally. Today she found a make up sponge and decided to make it her own, then I gave her and old compact and she was ready to put makeup on her face. She also felt the need to make sure everyone's hair was combed tonight. So then today at lunch Tally dumped out her sippy (full of G2) and decided to do her hair. It was a sticky sticky mess!

Hair, Roast, Amazing Race and IPODS

So last Sunday we went over to Jeff and Stacia's so that Stacia could dye my hair, we could watch Survivor and Ryan wanted the roast she was making. :) While we were there Tally discovered an IPOD sitting around so she and Uncle Jeff and Aunt Stacia listened to lots of music. It was a fun night.

The rest of Price.....

The rest of Price was spent with long games of Nurtz and Rummy. (Tallys even playing) :) We also went to the game like I said before. My dad's team played really great but they lost by about 10 points so they are done with their season. Anyway it was a nice relaxing visit and a great game

Thought this was hilarious!

Everyone wants to be a winner sometime in their life. :)
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. You have no clue what it's going to be.
3. It may not be complete until after the summer is over!

The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog. The first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me! *Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it!

Anyway, I thought it was funny we'll see if anyone wants a mystery prize from me- I am a creative genius you know. :) haha

So far in Price.......

Ryan and I decided to take a trip to Price this weekend so we left Wednesday night. Thursday night we relaxed and I watched Survivor with Tally, Nanette and Deidra and Ryan went to practice karate with a friend, can you believe he wanted to miss it? :) Today we relaxed again and just hung out. (Tally's not had a great time sleeping at night so I've not had a lot of energy) Tomorrow will probably mean a trip to Wal-Mart before we go to the Carbon-Union game at Carbon High School. So our schools will be rivaling eachother. I'm partial to the Union coach and manager though. :)
Go COUGS!

Happy VERY LATE Birthday Stetson!

So because we didn't celebrate it I guess I forgot! Stetson's birthday was February 9th, ironically the same day as his dad's. Anyway you've all heard about Stetson, he'll be coming home on April 28thish so this is the last time we celebrate his birthday while he's hanging out in Brazil.
Happy Birthday Stetson!
FYI: I only have 2 more letters before I've caught up with him for his book!

Valentines Day

Okay so these are the beautiful roses that were delivered to my house in the early morning that I received while Tally and I were both still in our Pajamas! But they are pretty, so I guess it's okay.
This is a cake that was delivered to us by my Aunt and her kids Cami and Zac (Ryan couldn't wait for me to take a picture before he started digging in)
These cupcakes were delivered to us by my other cousins, Chantel, Brandi, Kellie, Cassidy and Evan
These are the yummy chocolate covered strawberries I got for my hubby! He loves them! (used to be 6 but once again..couldn't wait)
Here he is again with the strawberries and with some delicious Dove Chocolates from my parents
This is all of Tally's stuff!! So much from her Grandma & Grandpa Kunz, Grandma & Grandpa Morris and Mom and Dad! Coloring book, car, 4 stuffed animals, 3 belts, lots of candy, paper doll, and lots of hair clips! (we can get a pony now!)
All of my extra cookies after delivering!
Finished product!
My sad roses after baking all day, my kitchen got to hot and they wilted! I probably won't be getting flowers for a while. :)

Tally posing with her "stuff" (notice the pony)

So my parents' offered to take Tally on Valentines Day so Ryan and I could go to a stake dinner/dance. We planned on meeting a couple there and then going back to our house for games later. But when we got there everyone was in church clothes and we were in jeans so our plans were quickly foiled. We ended up going to the Grill and then going back for games, so no dancing, but it was okay we had a fun time and it was nice to go out with just the two of us. Thanks parents, and Happy Late Valentine's Day to everyone!

Trying to hurry......

I have a brother in law who is on a mission in Brazil and will be coming home in April. We are all so excited to home. So many things have changed since he's been away. Ryan and I had Natalya. Stacia married Jeff and Bud and Nanette (Ryan's parents) got a new house. All of it is very exciting! While Bud and Nanette were without a home they were living in a fifth wheel, which meant all the stuff for scrapbooking was packed away. About a year ago I decided I would have the time to do Stetson's scrapbook digitally, plus it wouldn't be easier and faster and still look as nice, so I volunteered. I he left in May of 2007 and I had his book done to September of 2007 and then my baby grew up and I forgot until yesterday! So I worked on it for four hours last night while I was at work trying to catch up. There is so much with it that I want to do but I completely forgot! I will get it done somehow, it doesn't have to be ready right when he gets back in April anyway. His parent's and sister are going down to pick him up, so I want those pictures and memories in there as well. I'm just glad I remembered! :) Here are some of my favorite pages from the book. I'm still looking for a map of Manaus, Brazil so that I can show all his transfers. I'm really excited about this book and I hope he will enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. I'm wondering about putting some of the things that happened to his family while he was gone in the book to kind of catch him up and put it in a time line of what was happening with of us in Utah while he was in Brazil. Any thoughts on that?

Happy Birthday Brad!

So over the weekend Ryan, Tally and I traveled to Lehi to see Ryan's dad for his birthday. His birthday isn't actually until today but I have to work today. Anyway we played some cards games, took him out to a good mexican resteraunt and just hung out for a couple days. It was a quick weekend and the 3 of us were pretty tired afterwards so Sunday ended up being a lazy day. 4 generation picture is the newest one I have, I need to update

Growing up so fast!

Tally has been attempting to walk backwards for the last week or so now and I think she's nearly got it perfected! She's doing great. She can also make animal sounds for horse, cow, chicken, owl, lion, fish, puppy and kitty. She does a great job! We've started to teach her the signs for the animals. Right now she can do puppy and fish, we'll keep trying though.

15 month appt

So yesterday I took Tally to the doctor for her 15 month appt. Everything is great for her. She weighs 24.8 lbs so she's only gained a pound in 3 months. The docotor says she's "finally human now" and down to the 80% tile. Since she's been born she's always been 90% :) She's only in the 40% tile for her height so all of you who think she's so tall, she's really not, your eyes are playing tricks on you. :) The worst part of the appt is that the nurse had to give her 5 stinkin shots! It was awful! She got the same 3 she got when she was a baby and then MMR and Chicken Pox. Those I'm told she could actually get symptoms of. Fun for us! She could also possibly have a fever, as a reaction to the shots, 10-14 days after getting them. So we could be in for a long haul! She's done okay so far. Still taking naps and playing, we just keep medicine in her.
