Daddy-Daughter Date

Today I had to be up early to work in Vernal for 9 hours. Because we are a one car family at the moment and I didn't want to leave Ryan and Tally stranded all day they came with me. They went shopping this morning and bought some long sleeve shirts for Tally and some fire fighting boots for Ryan. Then Ryan took Tally to the Dinosaur Museum. He says she had a lot of fun digging for the dinosaur bones and playing with the dinosaur puzzles. These are the pictures Ryan was able to take and send to me on his phone. Isn't my little girl just so cute?!

Poor thing needs a haircut so she can see! We finally need a haircut!!

After that they brought me lunch and we ate in the car because Tally had fallen asleep. She's now awake and they are swimming! Vernal has an indoor recreation center so my spoiled little girl is now swimming in December with her daddy! I'm sure she is loving it. After that they will come pick me up and we will head back home and off to the game. My dad's girls basketball team is UNDEFEATED! Let's hope they keep that up tonight. I am so excited to go tonight. His team is so fun to watch this year!

Appointment Update

I had my second appointment today. Baby's heart rate is 160. There's a theory that you can tell what you're having by the baby's heart rate and if it's true we are so having a girl! We are getting a baby well ultrasound on January 7th, at exactly 20 weeks. I will know if the heart rate theory is true in 2 weeks!!

Puppies!

On Friday night Jeff and Stacia's dog ended up having 5 puppies. Unfortunatly only 4 survived. We decided to take Tally over to their house that night to see them. She loves the little puppies. We were over at their house again last night and I had to laugh as Tally was telling the mom "see your puppies, your babies, right there!" She was so excited to hold them and cuddle with them. She spent most of last night sitting by the cardboard box the puppies are living in right now.

The Perfect Family

In any movie or statistic I've ever seen besides halfs and percentages of children, the "perfect family" is always describe as Dad, Mom, and 2 kids. Normally one boy and one girl. Well in 23 weeks I will be able to tell you if the perfect family is really that perfect. That's right, Ryan and I are expecting our 2nd child on May 27th. I'm doing fine, nauseas at the beginning, which was new to me, and now I hardly feel like I'm pregnant. It's kind of nice, I'm too busy taking care of Tally to have any time to dwell on the fact that I will soon be uncomfortable and possibly miserable. Ryan is convinced we are having a boy this time, something I'm not so sure of. We had our first ultrasound/appointment at 13 weeks and the Dr. says everything is looking great. Right now I don't really look pregnant, just fat. Kind of depressing considering the 30 lbs I lost before I got pregnant. Luckily I haven't gained much weight in reality, I just look like it. Here are the ultrasound pictures that I do have. The top picture is really hard to see. Baby was moving to fast. :) The second one is a picture of baby, head at the bottom feet and the top and then you can see the arms close to the body. Ryan thinks baby looks like a "Wii character" int he pictures the hands and feet look like balls. :)Ryan and I are very excited to be parents again! We're hoping everything goes as well as it did last time!

Snow?

This is the first Winter that we were able to explain snow to Tally and she understood. The watches it out the window, stomps through it when we go to get in the car but hasn't had a chance to play in it yet. But today her dad was home..and while I'm sitting here at work he took her out to play in the snow. Their goal was to make a snowman but Ryan says that the snow is too soft. Too bad because making a snowman is all Tally has talked about all the day long. I think she still enjoyed herself though. Ryan says her want to play in the snow ended quickly when she got cold. I don't think it will stop her from trying again though.

Company Christmas

Ryan's company Christmas party was last night (thanks to Cassidy for babysitting). It was held in Vernal which added an extra hour to our trip by the time the night was over. They had some great food, a drawing (we didn't win anything :( ) and a Magician who was hilarious! He had all of us laughing and a lot of employees were drunk so it was fun to see them laugh at nothing and fall over things. Nothing too rowdy though. Ryan and I enjoyed the date night alone but we were happy to get home.

They call me the fireman....

In case you didn't already know Ryan became a fireman at the beginning of November. He loves it! The first couple calls were a little hard for him to get out the door with so much adrenaline but we have since set the house up better for calls. Shoes and keys by door etc. Last night we went to the fireman Christmas party. Lots of fun. Good food, $10 gifts and they took a picture with all the firemen that night that I will have to get from them. I'm so glad Ryan's enjoying his "guy time!"

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today is my dad's birthday, not that he would want  you to know, but I can't very well say happy birthday to everyone else on my blog and forget him so...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

and good luck with your game tonight! ;)

Thanksgiving

This year our family got the chance to go to two Thanksgivings! We celebrated with my family on Thanksgiving day and then travelled to Price the next day to celebrate with Ryan's mom and stepdad. He worked out for all of us to have Thanksgiving on Friday. All of us were able to be there, except for Jeff. Both meals were delicous and it was fun to see so much family!

Eating!

My Grandma welcoming everyone

Attempting to introduce Justin

Our Thanksgiving has a line...

Very depressing when you're hungry!

And in the very back..

Tally wasn't much for eating as she was for playing

But when it came time to eat the cool whip off of Candice's pumpkin pie she was more then willing to help!

Tally's sneaky eyes!

Thanksgiving at Grandma Wilsteads. About to eat!

I forgot my camera for both of these events so thank you to my mom and Nanette for supplying me with the photos!

Happy Birthday Tally!!

Tally is 2 today!! I can't believe how fast my little girl is growing up!

Happy Birthday to my little cowgirl!

Halloween 2009

Tally really got into Halloween this year! She was a monkey and loved wearing her costume. She practiced saying "trick or treat" days before we ever went.

She had a Halloween Party on Friday (my mom took her because I was working so I need to get those pictures), the city had a trick or treat down mainstreet on Friday as well, all the businesses came out to give the kids coupons, toys and candy.

Ryan and I took her to a Halloween Carnival Saturday morning and then to a grocery store trick or treat that night before going to a Halloween party at my parents house and then of course. Regular trick or treating.

Ryan went overboard this year with pumpkin carving. He wanted to carve the pumpkins with something that he knew Tally would recognize so he drew them himself and then outlined them to make them able to be carved onto a pumpkin. They were amazing!

Princess Tally

This year Ryan's family in Lehi decided to throw Tally her own birthday party in Lehi on October 16th because most of them wouldn't be able to make it to her party here. They gave it a Princess theme and invited all of her girl cousins to come. They all dressed up like Princesses. They had lots of games for them to play and things to color, prizes, Princess Parade and fed them all pizza, treats and cupcakes.
