Back from Trip to AZ!!

And it's good to be back too! My family and I recently took a trip down to AZ for a family reunion. But before I get a whole bunch of comments telling me about how crazy I am for going to AZ because it's so hot you need to know that we didn't go to Phoenix. In fact, where we went it's about the same temperature as here. So now you can relax and know that I'm not as crazy as you think. :) My dad is from AZ so his family got together for 3 or 4 days during his town's annual 24th of July Celebration. There's an ice cream social. Basically they back up the shwans man truck at the park and they just scoop ice cream until they're out. It doesn't cost anything and you can go back as many times as you want. We also went to a campfire circle. It's just a big field and cars park around in a circle and people are just BBQing or talking by their cars. When you walk around the circle you can talk to and see all the people you haven't seen in awhile. I don't think any other town in the world has this. But for my dad, who only makes the 9 to 11 hour trip every couple years, he really enjoys seeing his old classmates and friends. While we were there Tally got her 3rd tooth! It's right at the top so now she can eat big girl food! She loves soup, crackers, muffins and french fries now. Tally also learned how to Pat-a-cake all by herself. She claps her hands, slaps her knees, then throws her hands in the air. Once in a while she will even say "cake cake cake" while she's doing it. It's very cute to watch. (One of the pictures I'm posting with this blog is she and I playing Pat-a-cake)

Water Park and Humanitarian Center

So for the last month or so my family has been making little blankets that hang above cribs for orphans. They are really cute. Anyway I think we competed like 51! On July 8th we all went to the SLC Distribution Center to donate these wall hangings and then take a tour of the center. After that we went to a water park in Kearns. It was a pretty fun day. I didn't even get sunburned! :) Tally loved the water. She splashed anyone that came near us. My sisters were insane and jumping off this crazy way high high dive. We have some great pictures of them. haha

Fourth of July!

HAPPY 1st FOURTH OF JULY TALLY GIRL!!

So I'm finally blogging about the 4th of July. We had a lot of fun. We went to the parade and then to a rodeo that night.

Update from the weekend

Well we just got back from Lehi. We spent Thursday night to Monday morning with Ryan's family. We did a lot of shopping, went to a mexican resturaunt, watched some movies and slept in! Nothing really exciting but fun none the less. Now Tally and I are alone for the week while Ryan goes back to work. My cousin Daniel is out from AZ until Saturday and he would like me to tell everyone how cool he is. But Karli says "she's cooler". Daniel says "she's jealous" Karli says "there's nothing to be jealous of" So anyway back to my blog. We're leaving for AZ on the 23rd and we'll be back on the 28th. It should be alot of fun. Hopefully we'll have exciting pictures.

Tally Crawled!

Last night Tally Crawled. I mean really crawled all the way across the room. And now she just won't hold still for anything! She loves to stand and she's started trying to pull herself up using the couch. She'll be cruising soon I think! I won't be suprised if she starts working on walking really soon. Great Job Tally!

8 months going on 15 years!

So I figured I would give you information on Baby Tally especially since a lot of you reading the blog don't get to see her a lot. So Tally is 8 months old. Right now she rolls over, she's just started crawling, she loves to stand and walk--with help of course. She also loves to talk and sing. Every week at church she sings everytime the congregation does, she even needs to hold the hymn book. Tally loves ice cream and feeding herself cheerios. We recently when on a trip to the zoo. Tally liked to look at the all the animals. We went to the WildLife Bird Show where she got to donate a dollar by giving it to a parrot that took it and put it in the donation box. Tally is a great traveler. She loves going new places and being busy. In fact sometimes she has a hard time going to sleep because she's too curious about everything around her. Natalya loves watching Baby Einstien, Veggie Tales and Disney movies. She also like her toys. Chains, books, shoes, moms jewlery and anything that makes noise. She's very cute and a very happy baby. We can't believe that she's already 8 months old.

First Blog!

Hello! This is our first blog! Yay! hmm I guess we'll give you a quick update. Ryan and I got married August 10, 2006 so we are coming up on 2 years which is SO crazy! November 2, 2007 we had a beautiful baby girl. Natalya. She's so much fun to have around and she is growing so fast. She just recently turned 8 months! She is very curious and adventurous and won't hold still! :) Ryan and I live in Roosevelt. I'm a stay at home mom and he works in the oilfield. Okay so that's the update I think you're caught up.
Yesterday Tally and I went to SLC. We dropped off the crib wall hangings at the Humanitarian Center with my family and then headed to Kearns to go to a water park. Tally loves water and swimming! She had lots of fun. The water park was great. On Friday we will be headed to Lehi to visit Ryan's family for a couple of days and then on the 23rd of July we will be taking a trip down to AZ to visit my dad's family. I will let you know how those go.
