Of course I need to wish myself a Happy Birthday! Big 2 3. Not sure how I feel about it. I got some fabulous things.

My sister gave me these super fun headbands. I'm going to have to fight Tally for them though. ;)

She also gave me this sign I just have to find a place to put it

And last but certainly not least, I became an Aunt on my birthday!

Please welcome baby Cassidy!

Jeff and Stacia's baby, Cassidy James was born at 12:06 so he barely made it to the 27th. I'm so excited for this new little guy. He's so tiny!

The 24th of July

This was our 2nd year spending the 24th of July with our friends Jenny and Trent and their family. They always have lots of games and competitions and even a raffle. It's an all day party with a pot luck and food judging lunch. Always tons of people and tons of fun.

and again...

We left from Nauvoo and spent the night in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Right on the border of Iowa and Nebraska. the next day was planned for us to go to the zoo but first we had to get our back brakes replaced. Such a bummer! We did eventually make it to the zoo though. It was a very short trip, but so much fun. Anyone who gets the chance to drive through Omaha, Nebraska STOP AT THE ZOO! We spent the night in Ogalala?, Nebraska and drove the rest of the way home from there. Our 9 day trip was super fast and super fun, but it's so nice to be home!

Summer Vacation continued..

We got into Nauvoo late on the night of the 4th. The next 3 days were actually spent in Nauvoo or Carthage. We went to 3 plays, the Womens gardens, a horse and wagon ride, lots of homes, down to the Mississippi, children's games, "Past Times", and the Pageant. Lots going on and not a lot of time to do it!
