Tutu Cute!!

I took up a new hobby of making tutus a couple days ago. Something I've wanting to do but have never been able to get around to it. I made one for Tally so that I could see how they would hold and she LOVED it. We had to wear it out to dinner that night. I've also made a couple to sell.

Weekend Play Date

Saturday Amanda and Madison came to play at our house from Price. The girls played hard with all of Tally's toys and then went swimming. After swimming and Ryan got home we ordered some pizza and waited for Amanda's date to arrive. Ryan and I took Madison for the night.

Sunday was a lazy day. Church was cancelled because of the Oquirruh Mountain Temple Dedication so we took our time getting everyone showered and dressed. We dropped the girls off at my parent's house and the three of us went to a really great temple dedication. The last one I had been to was Nauvoo. It was great to go again.

We hope Amanda and Madison will come and play again sometime.

And Tally...

While Ryan and I were pretending to be royalty Tally spent a couple days with Deidra, Stetson and Grandma and Grandpa Wilstead at their house. I think she really enjoyed her visit but I'll let you decide.

Thank you Nanette and Bud for taking Tally while we played!

Curtis Family Reunion

August 5th through the 10th was the Curtis family reunion outside of Duchesne. Because Ryan and I live slow close we ended up going there and back everyday instead of putting up a tent and sleeping on the ground. Most people had trailors so we would've been outcasts anyway. :) It was lots of fun and I got to meet relatives I had never met before.

Some of the kids caught a horny toad and my fearless daughter had to be in on all the action. Her mother, however, was not.

Princess for a day..

For our THIRD Anniversary (I can't believe we've been married 3 years) Ryan surprised me with an overnight trip to Castle Creek Inn in Sandy. We left early Monday morning. Did some shopping in Provo, ate at the Brick oven and then headed up to Sandy for, at the time, my big surprise. It didn't take us long to get there and I couldn't believe it. There was this little castle in the middle of the city. Almost completely hidden by the vines and trees around it. We checked into our room, King's Lodge, and when I opened the door I couldn't believe it! It looked like this: After playing a couple games of pool and trying out the jetted tub we headed out to these fantastic hidden gardens they have behind the castle.
We also toured the lobby, dining area and the rest of the castle surroundings

Thanks for the fabulous anniversary Ryan I love you!
