My Beef with March Madness!

I'm convinced it's March MADNESS because by the end of March everyone is mad that it's still on! Okay so basketball is great but like everything too much is horrible!!! For the last little while my primetime 7-10 pm shows have been taken over by men's college basketball! It's like having the President on for 2 weeks! I hate it! At least give me Survivor every week if nothing else! I can just see my dad (the basketball king)reading this. :) I was raised at the high school watching sports. I don't mind a basketball game, but I don't think it should take over an entire month of everything, especially not CSI, NCIS, The Mentalist, SURVIVOR and all the others! Isn't that why satellite TV has all of the those extra channels and "packages" so that if you want to watch basketball you can? Anyway I'm done venting. I just think it's dumb. At least I have Dancing with the Stars to look forward to on ABC!

This is for you mom!

The past couple times my mom's looked at my blog the "All I Want for Christmas" song has been playing on my blog. I told her I would change it a while ago and I forgot but it's changed now....FINALLY! What can I say? I'm somewhat of a slacker. Everyone enjoy Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown, David Archuletta and Julianne Hough!

Ryan's New Hobbie

Selling on EBAY!
So far he's done really well, meaning he's sold everything that he's put up for sell on EBAY not that we're rich...darn!

Treat Bucket!

Even though Tally is not "supposed" to be in Nursery until May 2, I've been taking her for the past month or so. (I have Sharing Time or Conducting in Primary and every other week Ryan is gone so it's just been easier.) Tally was recently dubbed worthy of the treat bucket and today we hauled it to church. She loved carrying around the "buckt" today and kept an eye on it through most of Sacrament Meeting.

More Bows!

I recently got a shipment in from The Ribbon Retreat of fabulous ribbon and great resin centers.
Ballerina Bows (set of 2)
Princess Crown Bows (set of 2)
Watermelon Bows (set of 2)
Neon Flower Bows (set of 2)
Lady Bug Bows (seperate)
Horse Bows (seperate)
I'll probably end up taking them to the Pink Shop sometime soon for my Grandma to start selling. I keep forgetting, maybe I'll remember this week?

Picture Projects!

As you can see, I'm way behind in my blogging! About a week ago I recieved two great photo projects in the mail! One is a collage I made on SnapFish of our San Deigo/Sea World trip in December and the other is Tally's First Year scrapbook from Blurb! Both I was so excited about! Here are some pictures of the final products.

Let the games begin...

So about a week ago. Ryan and I had 4 couples for a total of 10 people at our house for games. It was so much fun. They were at our house from 7-11 and didn't even know it. Ryan and I were the only couple with children so it's nice to be able to have the party at our house so Tally can play with her toys and we can put her to bed! Back to the game night....really fun! Everybody brought a game and a treat to share. No one went hungry! We play Nertz, some crazy game with dice, paper and one pen, Battle of the Sexes and Cranium. I can't wait to do it again next month!

Karli's Birthday Continued

So my sister, Candice, my mom, dad and Karli's best friend Vanessa and I planned a surprise party for Karli last night for her Sweet 16, she was so surprised! We invited her friends and gave it an 80s theme. Here are some pictures.
For party favors they each got a slinky, glow sticks and an 80s mix CD, that I made of course so it only has the best! I also had to include my daughter in the pictures just because she's so stinking cute playing with "her" slinky. We ended up taking it home with us. :)
Happy Birthday Karli!

The Bad News-- In my post about my class I stand corrected. If you are a senior citizen then it's $10, however, if you are in between the ages of 1 and 64 then it will be $25! Sorry for the mix up!

The Good News-- 3 of my bows have already sold! I just went and bought more ribbon, clips and resins online and I'm so excited to make more!!

Hot off the press!

......or glue gun I guess. I'm enlisting all of your help but I need it fast! I made this infant bows tonight to sell in the shop, I'm thinking of taking them tomorrow sometime. Especially you pregnant ladies, women, or women with children! So I'm selling 6 bows as a "package deal" they are all purples and pinks so they should match most outfits. They have all been glued in the back so the bows won't come undone and fray checked so as you may have guessed, no fraying. I've also added some flowers and gems to a couple. Here's a pic.
I just need to know how much you would pay for them if you were the one who was thinking of buying them! Thanks and I hope I here from you all soon!!

Sick Baby!

Tally hasn't eaten since Wednesday. I mean she does once in a while but not nearly like normal and then two days ago she started getting really hot and feverish and medicine wasn't helping it was awful. We still don't know what was wrong with her. Not eating and a fever were the only symptoms we even knew of. We thought about teeth but there's none that I could find when I checked this morning. I mean she already has 12, she's running out of places to put them anyway. :) So after lots of baths and tylenol and motrin her fever finally broke early this morning! Which is great because at some points she was at least 102. She's still a little warm now occasionally but nothing near what she was. Hopefully things keep getting better for her. I watching her when she's sick she just looks so miserable and she can't tell me what's wrong, which makes everything hard.

On a more positive note:
Stetson is coming home April 28th! It seems way soon. I've kind of been slacking on his book so now I have to get back to it. I need to find some motivation!

And:
Last night we had some people over for games and cards at our house and it was really fun. We played Last Word, a counting game, Nervous and 9 card golf. All of which are very entertaining. We do this at my house fairly often and if anyone would like to come to the next one let us know! We always try to invite lots of couples but usually only a few can make it so if you can come, COME! It's lots of fun. Just tell me and I'll let you know when we get together again.

Bows for Sale!

So my cute Grandma volunteered to sell my bows at the Pink Shop at the hospital where she volunteers at every Monday! I'm pretty excited about this! I'm not sure exactly how it's going to work or if I will sell anything but I'm super glad for the chance to at least try and see how it goes. I'll have to let you know later, and of course my bows are always up for sale if anyone wants some.
On another note:
I've had a lot of people asking me about digital scrapbooking so here's a little shameless advertising for myself! Yes I teach it. I have an 8 hour class coming up at the end of March and a 3 hour class coming in the middleish of April you're welcome to come. If you can't come to my classes but you still want to learn go get the Scrapbook Factory Deluxe software and I will send you the powerpoint I teach it off of for $10. Deal? Yes digital scrapbooking is easier and more time efficient than regular scrapbooking (and I could go on and on about why else it's so great if you're ever curious) and yes I will do your book or some pages but it comes with a price. :)
Hope everyone is doing well today!
