Bud's Birthday Party

Last Sunday we hurried down to Price for a quick trip to celebrate Bud's birthday. It was fun to see all of them. We had pecan pie, brownies and ice cream. Unfortunately I was focusing on getting pictures of Tally and her Uncles for her Uncle's scrapbook page so those are the only pictures I have of the party. It was a very short trip because Ryan had to work Monday morning, but it was fun none the less.

Last time fishing

This is probably our last fishing trip since it's now Fall and too cold for Tally. We went with our friends Jenny and Trent up to a little lake. We had the best luck catching the fish with grasshoppers plus I got to try out my new pole that I got for my birthday.

Camping Day Trip

On September 9th my parents went camping and Ryan, Tally and I went to see them for the afternoon and have dinner with them. I just found the pictures.

Let me introduce you all to Daniel. Daniel is one of my cousins from Arizona that is living with my parents this year. It's been fun having him around, we just aren't used to boys.  :)

Refenge for the facebook picture!
An excellent picture of my daddy if I do say so myself. :)

Not sure we are ever home!

Ryan and I left for Salt Lake Friday morning. We stopped to see his family in Lehi first. We ended up going to Wingers for lunch with a bunch of extended family, some of whom I have never met, and then back to his Grandma's to talk and so Tally could play with all of the toys.

We left Lehi and headed to the hotel in SLC and had dinner with Candice and my Grandma.
Of course we had to go "Shwimmin"

Then we celebrated my youngest cousin's birthday. He turned 1 in August but we celebrated his birthday in the hotel lobby while everyone was together.

The next morning we headed for the circus!

We went to the preshow and got to see a lot of the animals and the people in the circus. We also got to try on outfits.

The woman who made the circus possible!

Thanks again!!

We saw...

Tigers

"Ephalants"

"Horsies"

and puppies

The circus was so much fun and Tally LOVED it! She was in awe with all of the stuff going on. It was great to see how much she enjoyed it.

After the circus we went to lunch and to Costco and then headed home so that Ryan could go back to work Sunday morning. It was a very fun trip and great to see everyone.

My new love...

Anything that could possibly go wrong did!

Picking up from where we left off. Saturday morning I had horrible allergies. I'm allergic to animals and Ryan's parents have 1 dog and 2 cats. I'm usually ok for a day or two but I was dying!! I decided to take Tally and go shopping to see if my allergies would go away, plus we needed to get a few things. I grabbed stuff for her birthday, Primary and then the regular stuff like diapers. After that we went through the drive thru at Wendy's and went to see Amanda and Madie. Tally loves Madie.

The played for probably 2 hours and then it was time to go back to see Grandma and Deidra. My allergies had gone away but came back quick when we got back to the house. Tally fell asleep in the car and layed on me once we got in the house, still asleep, I didn't dare put her down, I was afraid she would wake up and she desperately needed a nap.

We figured Ryan would be home around 8 or 9 at the very latest, but he didn't walk through the door until 11:30! I already had everything packed so we loaded it in the car and started on our way. I couldn't believe we weren't going to get home until 1 but I was ready for my own bed and for Tally to have hers. I still needed to do treat bags for all the Primary kids for Sunday because it was the Primary Program. Needless to say, I was VERY stessed out.

When we got to the other side of the canyon Tally started to cry. She had been sleeping and I was glad because it was so late. The I heard a big burp. I told Ryan to slow down and has soon has he did Tally threw up everywhere. I didn't have time to get her out of the car like I was hoping for. She has NEVER thrown up in the car, but trust her to do it tonight! We had to clean everything up, change her clothes, wipe her off. She was so upset. It took us probably 15 or 20 min. By the time we had everything clean (luckily I had packed another blanket and pair of pajamas) I knew we wouldn't be home by 1.

Tally felt so bad, the whole way home she kept saying "Tally mess" "Daddy clean" "I sorry" How can you be mad at that? We did finally get home at 1:30. I did my treat bags Sunday morning and we were off to church for the Primary Program by 11:00.

Fun Weekend

The orignal plan- I was training for my new job on Friday and Saturday from 8-8 and Ryan would be in Colorado from Friday morning to Saturday evening. Tally would go see her Grandma Wilstead in Price.

What actually happened- I ended up not being able to work the weekend. Ryan was still travelling to Colorado and you take away a grandchild froma grandma after you've promised her the weekend... so to keep me from feeling guilty while I layed around my house while my family was gone I went to Price to help them take care of Tally. We ended up going to Thanksgiving Point on Friday. I'd never been there before, it was tons of fun. I think we will plan on going again when Ryan can go with us.

On our way to Thanksgiving Point

Tally and Aunt Deidra standing next to a cow

Riding the pony!!

Tally LOVES to ride ponies!!

Riding the wagon.. the horses that pulled the wagon were Gypsy and Hannah. Tally would love to tell you all about it sometime

Oh no! Tally's in jail!

Feeding the ducks. This was so funny! When Grandma bought the 25 cent duck food she thought it would be gone very fast, but Tally was having too much fun feeding the ducks one kernel at a time. We ended up feeding ducks for at least 5 minutes. She was too cute!

We also saw goats, cows, chickens, pigs and bunnies.

After the farm we went to the Creamery for some much needed ice cream.

After our treat we headed for the gardens. Tally really enjoyed them.

While she was sleeping we went to the Glass Blowing Art Museum. I'm glad she was asleep. I wouldn't have been a good idea to bring her in there awake!

Tally slept most of the way home too. But when she woke up she immediately need Grandma's "Lips" I think poor Grandma has to buy new lips after every time she sees us!

Tally got home and was so happy to play with Uncle Stetson. She's really warmed up to him and they have lots of fun together now.

That night I had a hard time putting Tally to bed. She got to sleep with me and thought that was pretty cool. It took me 2 hours to get her to lay down and be quiet...who knows when she actually went to sleep?

Too cute not to share

The other day Tally, Ryan and I made maccoroni necklaces. She was so excited to be wearing hers that she had to show it off with a "cheese."

Was excited being the key word because after that she took it off and never put it back on again. It made a cute picture though.
