Kudos

First I need to give Kudos to my self. I've now lost 28 lbs (most of the time :) ) and I've also been really busy in a very good way lately. Cleaning the house, weeding the flower beds, running bills, cooking, and grocery shopping. It's been great!!

Now kudos to Karli, Mom, Dad, and Deidra to making it through another school year! Deidra got out of school about a week ago and my family will see the end tomorrow!

And finally Alicia. My friend from college that was induced yesterday and had her baby last night!! Even more kudos go to you because of that darn c-section! But congratulations! You and Clark will be great parents!

Memorial Day Weekend

I'm finally back at work after getting Monday off and playing all weekend. It's so hard to come back....even for only 4 hours. So here's are weekend.
Saturday night Tally and I picked up Ryan from his work and we drove to Price. We hung out with his family and extended family and went to bed. Quite an eventful evening wouldn't you say?

Sunday was Stetson's "Homecoming" (our reason for being in Price). He did a great job on his talk and Ryan, Jeff, Stacia, Deidra and I had the opportunity to sing. We were fantastic! haha We left that evening back home because Ryan had to work on Monday.

Monday morning my parents picked Tally and I up and we headed for the Cemeterys. We had pinwheels on my Grandpa's grave that Tally loved. She also loved to smell all the pretty flowers. She played and watered the flowers with a bucket of water. (Her way to water flowers is to get her hands wet and then pet the petals. They get water that way right?)

After the cemeterys we went to the grocery store to grab something for a BBQ later that day. Tally always needs to "drive" when we go to the store. My sister, Candice, had never been shopping with us and thought Tally was so cute that she took a couple pictures.

After the store I went to my parents' house. My sister made homemade onion rings and fry sauce! Tally LOVED them!
Around 4:00 we headed to the BBQ at my Grandma's house. We had "boneless, skinless pork chops," chips and salad. Tally loved the Macaroni salad and all the fruit. She is a fruit child!! Then she found "The Wagon" dun dun dun. This wagon was amazing! It had a door that she could open and close to climb in and out. When it was time for us to leave we had to pull her down to the curb with the wagon and then pry her out! After the BBQ I got some lovely alone time! Candice and I went to play volleyball with my friend Jenny and her family. We played for 2 1/2 hours and it was SO much fun!
Our Memorial Day weekend was very busy but lots of fun. I hope everyone had a great weekend too!

My reality show addiction

Most of you know by now that I am and avid Survivor fan. Last night was the finale and JT won it all! 1.1 million dollars! It was so great and he so deserves it. Next fall is Survivor Samoa. Until then I'm sure I'll find something to keep myself occupied.
Amazing Race however had a much sadder ending 2 weeks ago. I was rooting for Luke and Margie and they were SO close! They blew it at the end and ended up taking third.
Dancing with the Stars has their finale tomorrow night. Gille Marini and Cheryle Burke, Melissa Rycroft and Tony Davalani, and Shawn Johnson and Mark Ballas are the top 3 and they are all fabulous! I think Melissa or Gille will win it though.
Bachelorette starts tonight! I must say that I never really cared for this show until I got bored one day on the computer and watched the season with DeAnna, since then I watched Jason screw things up on his season and now I'm pretty sure I'll end up watching Jillian's season.
Ryan and I just recently got Dish Network with DVR so it's not necessarily the case that I'm just sitting around at home every night. I can watch the episodes in the morning or afternoon too. :)
Speaking of things we got recently. Ryan forgot Mother's Day (sort of, he knew it was coming it just didn't get anything) so he took me to WalMart the other day and bought me a Wii and a Wii Fit! I'm so excited!! I've wanted one for a while and it could possibly be my new addiction!

Here we go again

So I've noticed whenever I spend time making bows I always make the same kind, it's like I go in spurts... Kinda funny.

A late night trip for nothing

Last night Ryan was getting Tally ready for bed. They were holding hands and Ryan stopped so he could lay her down and Tally kept going. All of the sudden she screamed and cried and wouldn't let us touch her wrist. She's down this a couple times before and in a few minutes she was fine. This time was not the same, she cried and cried. She even screamed when we tried to put on her pajamas shirt. So we took her to the ER at 10:00 last night. She was upset the whole way there UNTIL we got there and then she was fine. We still decided to check her in and have her seen because we didn't want to be doing this later in the night if she decided it hurt again. The doctor couldn't see anything wrong, but he was worried about her elbow popping out and not her wrist and wondered if that was the problem. (a very common problem with little kids) He ordered some xrays just in case there was a slight fracture or something. They were fine. She got a teddy bear and some stickers (most expensive stickers and teddy bear we've ever paid for) and then sent us on our way. Doctors orders are to not hold her left hand for a while and see if she still screams or cries over it. If so we get to bring her back in...yay! We didn't get home until 12:30 last night and I still had to put her to bed. Needless to say it was a long night for all 3 of us and I am SO tired!

Ryan decided he needed to go back to work

after ten days of playing, so that left Tally and I to fend for ourselves. This morning after Tally we got up we went up to the walking park and did a 2 mile walk/run. Tally did so great today, she hardly made a sound, I was almost worried. :) After that she didn't want to go inside right away so I got out her pink ball and took the photo opportunity she had given me. I think I got some great pictures and our grass is SO green! I know the dandylions are ugly but we're working on that. After playing we went in for lunch, watching some cartoons "toons" and now she's taking a nap. This has actually been a great day. I feel like I've been able to get a lot of excercise in AND have a happy baby at the same time, that doesn't happen very often.
