Robot Birthday!

We celebrated Jake's birthday on Sunday, May 15th.

I decided to make it a robot birthday (I always try to pick a theme that I don't think they will pick when they are older) We got so many compliments on his cake (in fact we are still getting them on facebook). Jake got so many great things, thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us!

Cinco Cakes

For Staica's baby shower I decided to make diaper cake centerpieces. The party had a "farm" theme. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out and I hope she was too.

My newest hobbie has been making diaper cakes! I had the chance to make 2 last week and they are so much fun. The first one is for my new cousin that was born last Thursday. Maddie Lynn! They didn't know what they were having so my mom and I chose teal and orange so that the cake would be perfect either way. I love the way it turned out!

The second one I made was for my best friend from high school. She is having a girl in February and her baby shower was last Saturday. I went with the classic pink to match the invitation.

I love making these and I hope I get a lot more chances!
