Princess for a day..

For our THIRD Anniversary (I can't believe we've been married 3 years) Ryan surprised me with an overnight trip to Castle Creek Inn in Sandy. We left early Monday morning. Did some shopping in Provo, ate at the Brick oven and then headed up to Sandy for, at the time, my big surprise. It didn't take us long to get there and I couldn't believe it. There was this little castle in the middle of the city. Almost completely hidden by the vines and trees around it. We checked into our room, King's Lodge, and when I opened the door I couldn't believe it! It looked like this: After playing a couple games of pool and trying out the jetted tub we headed out to these fantastic hidden gardens they have behind the castle.
We also toured the lobby, dining area and the rest of the castle surroundings

Thanks for the fabulous anniversary Ryan I love you!

U.B.I.C

Thursday.. we did nothing. Tally got home that day and then we didn't go to the show at the park that night just because it's the same thing every year. Friday however, I took Tally to the Art Show and to Art in the Park. She made all sorts of great things. We went to the show that night to watch the local talent and then the parade Saturday morning and the Eddie Money concert Saturday night. Eddie Money was really wierd....and possibly drunk. We ended up leaving his concert early and walking over to my mom's to watch the fireworks from her front yard. Ryan had to work so Tally and I ended up doing a lot of things with my mom, Aunt and cousins so a lot of this pictures are of them.

The parade
I've always loved the mortuary's entry but I've never gotten a picture before. Makes me laugh.
The horses. Tally loved them so I got a picture

Tally's Vacation

Last week Tally spent Tuesday through Thursday with Grandma and Grandpa Wilstead, Stetson and Deidra. From what I hear she had a fabulous time and I know she missed them when they brought her back Thursday morning. I enjoyed the time alone to clean my house. I finally was able to get my kitchen put back together without any "help" and I was also able to clean Tally's room. Her room is always the hardest for me to get to because most of the time I can only clean when she's sleeping and that's not possible if she's sleeping in her room. So my house looks much better now but I was glad to see Tally come home. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for letting Tally come play!

Bye Bye Jetta hello bike trailer!

On July 27th we sold the Jetta!! To get around now we bought a bike trailer for Ryan to pick Tally up from my parents while I'm at work until we find another car/truck we like. We tried out the bike trailer last night and Ryan said it rode really well. The cool thing about this trailer is that in can change into a stroller! I tried it out last Saturday and it worked really well.
